Thunder Bay Driving Academy is an Ontario Ministry of Transportation approved professional driving school that provides safe, reliable, and comprehensive adult driving education.

The academy’s mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for safe driving.

Individual 60-Minute Lesson

$65 + HST

Individual lessons are ideal when students feel they need additional practice and instruction from our highly qualified and patient instructors.

Individual lessons do not qualify for certification or potential insurance savings. Full course packages only receive MTO certification.

Package Includes

  • Automatic transmission vehicle
  • Appointments to suit your schedule
  • Pick up and drop off at a location convenient for you (within the city core)
  • Lesson is 60 minutes in length
  • A driving lesson only

Five (5) Private In-car Lessons

$300 + HST

Five private in-car lessons in an automatic transmission vehicle. This package is designed for students, who wish to have the benefit of taking lessons with one of our highly trained instructors.

This package of lessons does not qualify for certification or potential insurance savings. Full course packages only receive MTO certification.

Package Includes

  • Appointments to suit your schedule
  • Pick up and drop off at a location convenient for you (within the city core)
  • Each lesson is 60 minutes in length
  • Purchasing this package saves you $25.00 + HST

Ten private in-vehicle lessons in an automatic transmission vehicle. This package is geared towards customers, who wish to have the benefit of taking lessons with one of our highly trained instructors.
